Engineering Project Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are enjoying strong and sustained growth in our land development, coastal, public open spaces and active transport portfolios and are seeking a skilled and professional Project Manager to join our project design and delivery consultancy. You will become an integral part of the team with a focus on managing and delivering a diverse range of public realm projects.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will possess the following:-

• New Zealand recognised tertiary qualification in engineering.
• 8-10+ years’ experience in a NZ consultancy environment.
• Ability to proficiently undertake construction supervision and site investigations.
• Ability to manage contractual obligations and prepare proposals for bids.
• Sound working knowledge of NZS3910.
• Technical ability to prepare specifications, schedules and contract documentation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent programming tool.
• Strong interpersonal skills liaising with other professional consultants.
• Working knowledge and familiarity with NZ civil design standards and local authority expectations.
• Demonstrated project management skills in a range of project types and sizes on time and to budget.
• Manage technical investigations and subconsultant services.
