Kirsten Dovey

Senior Project Manager

Kirsten is a high-flying, all-rounder. Her depth of experience in managing projects across a broad range of business sectors gives her an ability to affect a positive difference on every new venture.

She completed her Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with 1st class Hons., earned her private pilot license at 25 and set up Otto’s, (Auckland’s restaurant of the year 2000).

Communication is key to Kirsten’s success. Her hospitality experience has enhanced her empathy and the capacity to relate to people from all sectors of society. She ensures each job is done well and works hard to help make everybody’s job easier.

As a project engineer she enjoys the fact that she is working with purpose and contributing to community projects that improve people’s lives. Always up for a challenge Kirsten says. “Every job is very different. I love learning and being surrounded and influenced by smart people.”

Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys yoga, skiing and swimming in the ocean. She loves to travel, has lived on the Greek Islands, soaked in the spectacular blue lagoons in Iceland, ski toured the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt, cycled through Vietnam and trekked in Patagonia.

Kirsten now has ambitions to facilitate a community infrastructure project in Africa, cycle through South China and get her PADI dive certificate.
